Google Search URL Builder

Set the Google search parameters you need and copy the URL. You also get the equivalent JustSERP API request. Everything runs in your browser, and the tool is free.

Paste a Google URL

Already have a Google search URL? Paste it and the form below fills in for you, so you can see the API request for it.

Set the search

The URL and the API request below update as you type.

Google uses udm or tbm for this. The API uses a different endpoint for each type.

Only used in the Google URL. The API ignores the domain, so the request leaves it out.

Pick a name from Google's list. It becomes uule in the URL and location in the API.

Google uses start, which is (page - 1) x 10.

Blur has no Google URL form, so the URL leaves it out.

API only. Device is not a Google URL parameter.

Options

Search for the words exactly as typed (tbs=li:1).

Exclude auto-corrected results (nfpr=1).

Show omitted similar results (filter=0).

More options

Only show pages written in this language, like lang_fr.

Only show pages from this country, like countryDE. Join several with |.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between gl, hl, cr and lr?

gl is the country you search from, hl is the language of the Google interface, cr only keeps pages from a country, and lr only keeps pages written in a language. gl and hl change how results are ranked and shown. cr and lr filter what can appear at all.

How do I search a date range on Google?

Add tbs=cdr:1,cd_min:MM/DD/YYYY,cd_max:MM/DD/YYYY to the URL. In the JustSERP API, send time_period_min and time_period_max in the same MM/DD/YYYY form. Ranges work for web and news search.

Why does num=100 no longer work?

Google stopped honouring num=100 in September 2025, so a page holds about 10 results. This builder does not add num. To get more results, ask for the next page with start in a Google URL or page in the JustSERP API.

What does udm=14 do?

udm=14 opens the Web filter, which lists plain web results without an AI Overview. The JustSERP API returns web results either way, so it has no matching parameter.

How do I get page 2 of Google results?

Add start=10 to the Google URL. Page 3 is start=20, and so on, at ten results per page. With the JustSERP API, send page=2.

Does the Google domain change the results?

The domain mostly sets the default country and language. For results you can repeat, set gl and hl yourself. The JustSERP API takes gl and hl and ignores the domain.

Need to target a place? Use the UULE generator and decoder. Full request details are in the API docs.
