Instagram Comments

The comments of a public Instagram post, read as a visitor with no account and answered as the document: `post`, `comments` and `pagination`.

The comments of a public Instagram post, read as a visitor with no account and answered as the document: post, comments and pagination. The first page is the 15 comments the post's page carries. pagination is absent on the last page. replies (a reply count) and user.is_verified appear only when set. An unknown post is 404 profile_not_found. zero_retention is not handled.

Query Parameters

cancel_token?string

A name you make up for this request (a UUID is fine), so you can later GET /v1/cancel with it. Only you know it, so only you can cancel. Use a new one for every request, retries included: a cancelled token stays cancelled for a few minutes.

post_id*string

The shortcode, or the address of a post, reel or video (as for instagram_post).

next_page_token?string

The previous answer's pagination.next_page_token (base64 JSON). A token this API did not give, or one of another post, is 400.

Response Body

The comments, as the document. When the page could not be parsed, the usual envelope.

The first keys of a document-form answer. Unlike DocumentHead there is no search_information unless the engine has one (there is none for the AI engines, Events, Events Details, Facebook, Tripadvisor Place, Trending Now and the Apple engines' places).

Instagram Post GET

One public Instagram post, reel or carousel, read as a visitor with no account and answered as the document with `post`: counts, time, every carousel item with its pictures and video files, tags, topics and the page's first 15 comments (`preview_comments`; `has_more_comments` says there are more, and `instagram_comments` pages them).

TikTok Profile GET

A public TikTok account, read as a visitor with no account and answered as the document: `profile`.
